See the world?s only ski-in/ski-out Starbucks
Some might say skiing just got a whole lot better. Or at least more caffeinated.
The Squaw Valley ski resort in near Lake Tahoe in California just opened the world’s first “ski-in” Starbucks, meaning skiers can buy coffee “without missing a beat on the slopes.”
The Tahoe Daily Tribune reports the cafe is located at the top of Squaw Valley’s mid-mountain complex and can be accessed with or without ski and snowboard equipment. And Seattle-based Starbucks is calling the mountain-top store an extension of the “Starbucks Experience.”
